Daily Inspiration: October 9. Understanding the ‘Acts’ of Frustration and Anger
When we ‘act’ with frustration and anger towards self or another, what the ego is trying to do, is separate us from our true-self and from each other. We are all One, if the ego can convince us that we are separate from each other, then it can also convince us that we are separate from God. The ego also knows that if we believe in a perfect all-loving God, but it can convince us through our judgment, frustration and anger, that we ourselves can not be perfect, then it can convince us that we could not be a part of a perfect God. If we feel separate from God, then the ego knows we will look to it for safety and support. If we feel separate from others, then the ego can convince us that we can judge others without hurting ourselves. Judgment is the ego’s main fuel source, and thus why it needs to convince us that it is safe to judge others. Yet do not despair, for the ego, being destructive and thus self-destructive in nature, can only rule us for so long, before we figure out, that there must be a better way of co-existing with self and others. Today let us not judge, be frustrated by or angry with others, for it is they, who through their participation in our life, are providing us with the opportunities to practice seeing and feeling how truly destructive and unlike, the ego’s mindset is to our own. Let us be grateful, not judgmental, for their assistance. Let us also be grateful, not judgmental of God, for He uses all, even our belief in a false mindset, for good. It is thanks to Him “allowing” us the freedom to experience the darkness and its symbols, such as those of frustration and anger, long enough to realize, that we don’t truly desire their expression or participation in our life. Now conscious, through free will, we can choose a more productive and natural experience, one that we feel aligns us with who we truly are.
It is thanks to our brothers and sisters participation in our life, that we are actually getting to see, feel and experience, where exactly the ego’s programs are ruling our minds. Many times the ego’s tools of frustration and anger, need to be physically seen, felt and experienced, before they are fully understood, dismantled and let go. The ego uses its tools as blocks, to try to impede our connection with, and understanding of, our true-self. Our brothers and sisters are thus volunteering to be used as targets, for us to project our ego’s illusionary thinking onto the physical form. In the physical form we can more concretely deal with these blocks, and better see and understand their unproductive nature. The sooner we see and realize, that they are offering us nothing we truly want, the sooner we will start looking for a more productive way, of being and interacting with each other. No matter how blocked we may be or feel, deep down inside, because truth lives forever within, we know that we are worthy of love, peace of mind and joy. It will be the recognition, that the ego’s mindset, and its tools of frustration and anger, are not getting us to where we want to be, that will have us looking for a better way. We are all, as God’s creations, worthy of this better way. Remember that we are all One, and so do not deny this better way to another, or else you will be denying it to yourself. Every brother and sister, no matter how attached they may appear to be to the ego’s mindset, is worthy of having someone offer them, a better way, a more loving, self loving and light filled path. You are here as a ray of light, to bring hope, healing and understanding, to those who are currently blocked, because they have bought into the ego’s false concepts as true.
Today, let us learn to see our brothers and sisters as our allies, and not our adversaries. They are here, simply to help us see, what we do and do not want. When frustration or anger knock on our mind’s door, let us not judge others for this, and thus give away our power to them. Instead, let us take personal responsibility for how we are feeling and reacting. Now, when frustration and anger come, we offer our brothers and sisters gratitude, for giving us another opportunity to practice, taking our power back, and by doing so, taking back control of our own minds. They are helping us remember, that our thoughts and reactions should not be controlling us, that we are not puppets in the ego’s game, and that it is actually we who should be controlling our own thoughts, feelings and reactions. Symbols that show us that our eternal essence is back in control of our thoughts, feelings and reactions, are that they are aligned with Love’s expressions, such as those of compassion, peace, joy and understanding. A few tools that will assist us in releasing us from the ego’s false concepts are gratitude, forgiveness and a trust in God. Each one of these three expressions are extensions of Love, which is our natural state. The more that we make a conscious decision to choose them over the ego’s false concepts of judgment, frustration and anger, the more natural such choices will become. The more opportunities we are offered by others to make such choices, the more normal this way of thinking will be. The more normal this way of thinking becomes, the more we will see that there is truly nothing easier than being who in truth we are and were created to be.
Today, let us practice going from a mindset where the ego’s programs are controlling our thinking, to a mindset where we, our loving eternal essence is back in control. Judgment of self and others, frustration and anger, are a few symbols that show us that the ego’s programs are in control of our thinking. A few symbols that will show us that we are back in control, are gratitude, forgiveness and a trust in God. First, let us be grateful to others, for offering us the opportunities to practice releasing the ego’s programs. Second, let us forgive them for whatever it is that we had been programmed to think they did to us. Third, let us place our trust in God’s plan, knowing that God being Love, uses all the manifestations of our interactions, to help us grow, heal and awaken us to our true nature.
