Breaking Out of Negative Thinking Patterns

If you are having problems breaking out of negative thinking patterns try this: instead of thinking for and reacting by yourself, bring God / Source, or any self-actualized being you love and trust, to help lead you through your day. And so in essence what you will actually be doing is practicing realigning with your truest / highest self before making any decision. Every time you think of yourself or someone else, and negative thoughts pop up, know that it’s the ego’s training in you that is doing the thinking, not your truest / highest self. Today, instead of following the ego’s demands, stop, bring God / Source in, ask Him / Her what would be the most loving and productive way to interact with yourself and others, and then express what you have been guided to do so.
