Peace, Forgiveness, and Joy As Core Inherent Values

The ego has programmed us to believe that judgment, anger, resentment, and thoughts of revenge are natural. But let us remember that the ego itself is a self-destructive mechanism, temporal in nature, and thus the emotions, actions, and reactions, it insist upon, can only last for so long before we realize that they are not worth the weight they burden us with. It is purely up to us to decide how long we support the ego’s illusionary thought system. As long as we support it, it will seem real. When we stop supporting it, it will begin to dissolve before our light/understanding. When we finally realize that what the ego offers we do not want, it is then we look for another way, a better more compassionate way that is aligned with our core inherent values. Peace, forgiveness, and joy are core inherent values; they are all extensions of love which itself is the extension and expression of God/Source. The gifts given to us in our creation are eternal, and it is the eternal in us that we are always looking to gravitate towards, align with, and express.
