Returning to the Present Moment

Today we practice returning back to the present moment. We will use just one short phrase that represents the truth within. This phrase will help remove us from the ego’s game of one-upmanship. For example, I will use the phrase “I choose peace instead of this,” you may use this same phrase or equally and as successfully a dozen others. Whenever you catch yourself playing the ego’s games of anger, judgment, or criticism, simply return to the present moment by stopping and saying to yourself that one phrase. When done with awareness whatever illusion you were absorb in will immediately be interrupted. You will start to notice that in every moment you indeed have a choice, a choice between the ego’s programming and your truth. Today let us practice returning to the present moment and remembering that it is here we truly belong.
