Using the Ego’s Thoughts to Free Us from It

Video message based on the Inspirational Daily post of October 26:

Today let us practice being more deliberate with, and consciously aware of, the thoughts we think. The ego has programmed us with a negative orientation by making judgments of others and ourselves dominant thoughts within our minds. And so today we look to start to deprogram ourselves by reversing the thinking of the ego’s world and making a conscious effort to look for things to appreciate. Today we will use the ego’s thinking to help free us from its grip. Whenever the ego insist we judge, we will take that moment as a signal to consciously take back control of our thinking, and do the opposite of what it is telling us to do. Thus when it tells us to judge we will use it as a signal to appreciate, when it demands we condemn we will take it as a signal to have greater compassion, and when it tries to put us down we will see that as a signal for greater self love and acceptance.
