Experiencing the Gift of the Present Moment

Imagine if you chose to see every moment as a gift of growth that you are presenting yourself with. What emotion but gratitude would you express if you believed that what you are experiencing, no matter how you are choosing to experience it, is taking you in the direction that will one day reunite you with your truth? And what feeling, except that of peace could you have if you truly trusted that there is One who is with you on your journey, who fully loves and protects you, and has promised that everything will be alright? Trust that every moment you are experiencing is occurring in order to help lift you to a higher level of consciousness. For when you once again allow the truth to shine from within you, the illusionary ideas of doubt and lack of self-worth will dissolve away to bother you no more. When those illusions dissolve, what you will see left in its place is growth, gratitude, peace, and trust in the present moment.
