Ask the Author: Question & Response
Sir, I thank you for the book “You Have Chosen To Remember.” I have been really blessed. However, the Bible says that it is appointed unto man to die but once and after that judgment, how then can we reconcile this with your lessons on reincarnation?
– A., Nigeria
Thank you for your comments. In the introduction of You Have Chosen to Remember, I state the following: “So with an open heart and mind I share my thoughts. Those thoughts that resonate with you will simply reinforce what you consciously or unconsciously already know. Those thoughts which do not resonate with you – I invite you to question or simply put aside. Regardless of what you choose to do with the thoughts that are presented, I do wish you well on your journey.”
Believe whatever your heart tells you is true. My interest does not lie in changing or challenging beliefs. I respect whatever you believe, as much as I respect my own beliefs. I’m only trying to be of assistance in remembering that peace of mind, forgiveness and joy are always available to you, and all others, in the present moment.
The question of reincarnation is truly secondary. What is important is what you do with your life now. It is the present moment that is the gift. It is the present moment where you meet your fellow beings and offer them the hand of God or judgment. It is the present moment where your destiny is birthed. Offer love, peace, forgiveness and hope to your fellow brothers and sisters now, and you will create a more loving, peaceful, forgiving and hopeful environment for you, your children and your fellow countrymen.
Whenever you’re tempted to judge, stop and take a step back. Take a moment for yourself and invite God into your awareness. Ask God how He would see your brother or sister. Ask God how He would treat your brother or sister. Ask God what He would say to your brother or sister. When you have and show peace toward yourself and your brother, then know that you are aligning with God.
God is enlightening us in order to light the way for others. In the present moment, in the now, be an example to others of the peace of God, the love of God, the forgiveness of God, and the hope of God. If you are aware of and in the present moment, you become God’s gift to this world; and He will offer you to others for unwrapping. Have you ever seen a child unwrap a present? This is the reaction others will have to you when you offer your true self in the present moment.
My friend, it is the present moment that counts. Serve as an example to others of the truth within us all.
