We are all One. Thus what we do and think of “others,” we feel and experience ourselves. Does the burden that you carry, of your judgments of others, weigh you down? Does your inability to forgive others come chained to a lack of peace? Does this way of thinking, behaving, being, and existing increase your daily levels of stress, anxiety and guilt? Does carrying these thoughts around, and being in a bad mood because of them, hasten your anger? When in this mental and emotional state, does your patience fade quicker, even with complete strangers? Do these judgments, and your lack of forgiveness, keep you tossing and turning at night, and leave you tired the next morning? How much longer will you insist on punishing yourself with your own thoughts?
Today, let us practice respecting ourselves. We do so by recalling that the thoughts, words and emotions that we use with others — either poison or heal us. When our thoughts, words and emotions are aligned with the ego’s mindset, and its desire to hold power over others by not forgiving them, then let us recall that it is us who will suffer and carry the heavy burden of a mindset that is out of alignment with our true goals. The choice that frees us from the ego’s mindset — is the one that aligns us with the Love of God. God is Love and All. So what we need to do today is recall that we are all One, and love all. In doing so, we will reap what we sow, and begin to realize that there is truly nothing more self-loving and self-respecting than to love and be respectful of everyone and all.
All glory to God.
