We do a lot more acting during our day than we realize. In fact, every time we react with anger, judgment, stress, envy, jealousy, resentment or hate, we are acting. It is tiring trying to be who we are not. Being who the ego has programmed us to think we are is a giant learning feat. Once we recognize what we have taught ourself, we will never again question our power to learn any part we choose to play. We have put on masks, have lost ourself in an actor’s part within the ego’s play, and have forgotten who we truly are. We have played the ego’s fantasy role for so long that now we don’t even question or recall that it is a fantasy of lies that we have been taught are real and true, written by a liar.
Today, let us practice recognizing when we are on the ego’s stage. Anytime we are not offering the truth within us (our peaceful, compassionate, forgiving and loving nature), let us simply recognize we are on the ego’s stage. Why continue to play a part we now know we no longer want? Why continue to work for the ego when it only brings us judgment, anger, suffering and pain? God has gifted us free will. We can step off the ego’s stage anytime we choose to. All we need to do is recognize we are aligned with a mindset that does not represent the truth in us. Our interactions with others are helping us see when we are playing someone we are not. Today, let us take off the ego’s masks and thank all those who are offering us the opportunities to finally exit the ego’s stage.
May your day be filled with Peace, Health, Happiness, Love, Laughter, and Light.
