Today, those who we have judged and cursed, are the ones who will help set us, finally free. Think of a person that you have judged or have yet chosen to forgive. Now, become aware of that momentary unit of time where your frustration and anger towards that person first surface. Admit to yourself that the units in time where your anger first surface was in the past. Notice how, if you did not bring the past into the present, you would not be experiencing the pain and resentment that you now feel. If it is only you who can, through your thoughts, drag the past into the present, then it is only you who can make yourself mad now, in the present moment. If it is you who is truly making yourself mad now, then it is you who can choose to forgive, set yourself free from your own judgments, and find peace in the now.
Today, let us practice freeing ourselves from the ego’s grip. We begin to do so by deciding to offer those the ego has programmed us to judge, our forgiveness. We then offer those the ego insist that we, through our thoughts of anger, resentment and revenge, hold prisoners within our minds, total and absolute freedom. We free them, just like we imprisoned them, through our own thoughts. Now, every single time we think of them, we offer them only our blessing, thoughts of compassion, peace, healing, gratitude, joy, love and understanding. These will now be the energies that they will bring up in us, each and every time we think of them. We complete this shift in consciousness, by offering them our sincere gratitude, gratitude for helping us practice becoming who we came here to be.
