Daily Inspiration: January 8. Oneness: Offering “Others” What You Desire for Yourself
God is Love and All. Love is who we in truth are. Only when we have bought into the ego’s mindset as real, can we believe we are something other than Love, All. Believing in this illusionary mindset will make judgment, the ego’s main fuel source, appear real. The ego uses judgment to try to separate us from each other. The ego, by separating, conquers. It has us focus on the temporal, the body, instead of the eternal, the soul. It says that because my body is separate from yours, then I can judge and punish you, without that having any negative effect on me. How much longer must we play the ego’s judgment filled games before we realize that they do not bring us the peace and joy we want? Being all One, any judgment of another will rob you of your peace of mind and joy. The states of confusion, frustration, anger, resentment and the need for revenge, result from buying into the ego’s false concepts as true. Yet do not despair, for the ego being illusionary in nature, all its ideas are false, not real, not true, not us. When you buy into the false concept of separation, and judge “another,” be it through thought, word or action, what you are unconsciously doing is teaching yourself that you are not safe from others judgments of you. You are afraid of the monsters in your dream simply because you do not realize that you are dreaming. You are exacerbating the problem because if you can judge others, then they can judge you, and according to the ego, there is one of you, and seven plus billion of them. When you buy into the ego’s mindset, you see yourself as under a constant barrage of ‘real’ judgments, and thus of attacks. This mindset produces in you concern, anxiety, stress, anger, fear, hate, resentment and the need for revenge. Yet do not despair, for this pain is caused, not by this world, but by your believe that the ego’s mindset, and the world it creates, are true. Take your belief away from it, and it begins to dissolve before you light and understanding.
We have been programmed by the ego to believe, that by judging another, this somehow liberates us from the pain we feel and carry within. But, when we judge another, who is really left carrying the burden of judgment’s weight? Even after the ego swore to you that you had ‘every right’ to judge, who is the one who ends up regretting their action? Who is the one who ends up tossing and turning in bed at night, simply because you have bought into the ego’s lies as true? Have we all not suffered long enough following the blind? Have you not tired of the pain and anguish that the ego so-called advice constantly delivers? When will enough finally be enough? Let us no longer blindly follow the blind. Let us instead awaken to the realization, of what through our thoughts, words and actions, we are doing to each other. We are all One. When we offer forgiveness to another, are we not also freed from the having to carry the burden of judgment’s weight? When we judge, become angry and condemn another, are we too not also cursed and jailed in a self-made guilt ridden prison within our own minds? How many more times must we fall into the ego’s dark ditch before we consciously stop ourselves from following its direction? When we judge ‘another,’ understanding now that we are all One, what is really happening is that we are unconsciously judging as guilty, a part of ourselves. True peace of mind and joy, can never be found nor experienced, as long as we continue to unconsciously judge ourselves as guilty. Unconsciously judging yourself as guilty, only reinforces the false idea, that you are not worthy of peace. Peace is an expression of Love, and Love is your Creator, thus you are forever worthy of the peace, that by your own judgments, you are withholding from yourself.
Today, let us look again to reverse the thinking of the ego’s world. Instead of focusing on the seeming separateness of our bodies, we will focus on the sameness in our souls. When we do so, a feeling and sense of Oneness results. Let us do this, by offering “others”, what we ourselves desire to experience. Free will, in every moment, allows us to choose between judgment and forgiveness. One idea chains us to the ego’s world of separation, the other sets us free, to reunite with All That Is. Today, let us slow down time, and really feel what we are offering others. Notice how what you offer to others, must first flow through you. It is what we offer others, that first flows through our own veins, hearts, minds and souls. It is what we offer others, that ends up either poisoning us or helping us heal. When we forgive another and no longer have to hold them as a prisoner within our minds, it is we who no longer need to guard the prison. Today, allow forgiveness to be your response to the ego’s demand for judgment, and watch the ego’s illusionary iron bars, nature and world, begin to dissolve away before your eyes. Nothing more is asked of you to have peace, than to offer peace. You are God’s creation, as much as your brothers and sisters are, and as such, we are all equally worthy of peace. It is your focus on Oneness that will bring you peace, and it is your state of peace that will become a witness of your belief in Oneness. If you truly desire to feel God’s all-encompassing Love, Oneness, then today offer it, forgiveness and love, to everyone, everything, and all. What do you have to lose by letting go of your judgments? What do you have to lose by giving up nothing, and receiving everything in return?
Today, let us slow down time enough, to truly pay attention to, how the thoughts that we think, words that we use, and actions that we take, in regards to ‘others,’ affects us. Let us notice that whatever it is that we think of, say or do to others, we get to first feel flowing through us. It will be these feelings that we offer others, that will end us poisoning us or healing us, imprisoning us within the ego’s mindset and world or setting us free from it. As we become clear of this cause and effect, this helps us better understand and verify our Oneness. Today, when the ego once again demands that you judge another, and so in essence poison yourself, decline its request. Why continue to travel the ego’s dead end roads when you already know where they take you? Today, forgive, and by doing so choose the path to peace. Today, let us take back control of our own minds, our thoughts, words, and actions, and align them with Love, Oneness, our true essence and eternal Source. Today, let us acknowledge our Oneness, and by simply treating others, how we ourselves would like to be treated.
