Daily Inspiration: March 15. Consciously Choosing Forgiveness over Judgment

Today, let us practice reinforcing our alignment with God, by consciously choosing forgiveness over judgment. Anytime the ego insists we judge others, let us ask ourselves: “Is this judgment really worth my peace of mind and joy?” When we figure out that it is not, then let us use forgiveness as a tool, not necessarily for others, but to help us personally return to the state of peace. Today when the ego demands judgment because things seem to be going against us, or things seem to be taken away from us, we remember that this is occurring simply because we are recognizing their lack of value in our life. As we once again align with forgiveness, our true loving nature begins to encompass a greater part of our life. As forgiveness encompass a greater part of our life, we begin to notice how unlike, the energy of judgment of self and others, is to us. As we recall that judgment is not a part of our true nature, our need to defend ourselves through it diminishes, and then it slowly begins to dissolve back into the nothingness from which it came. The ego has programmed us to believe that judgment offers us a certain level of power over the person we judge, but in truth this is a false illusionary power. We are all One, and so when you think that you are judging another, what you are really doing is, unconsciously reinforcing the idea that there are seven plus billion people who have every right to judge you. You can not truly achieve the states of peace and joy when you unconsciously believe that everyone “out there” is out to judge you. To achieve the states of peace and joy, you need to realize that judging others, in the end, hurts you, and hurting yourself is not God’s will for you. God’s will for you is perfect peace of mind and joy, and since we are all One, you achieve these states, by offering all others, what you desire for yourself.

Today, understanding that God is All and Love, let us recall that everything that we end up experiencing, is always, in one form or another, helpful. Today everyone we meet, regardless of their actions or reactions, is gifting us the opportunity to develop into more forgiving and non-judgmental human beings, which in turn, makes us more peaceful and joyful. Because of their participation in our life, we are developing a deeper alignment to our true selves, and thus a greater understanding of who in truth we are. What a gift each and every person becomes, when we finally realize what they are offering us. It is their participation in our life that is helping us strengthen our union with God. It is their participation in our lives that is helping us recall that God is truly love, that forgiveness is one of the many expressions of love, and so when we unite with forgiveness, we are uniting with God. Imagine shifting your mindset from one that is unconsciously attached to the ego judgments, to one that is aligned with God, and where the freedom that forgiveness offers is available to you all the time. Which mindset do you think would bring you closer to the peace of mind and joy that you so desire and deserve? Which one will have you tossing and turning at night, thinking about the same scenario over and over again, and which one would aid you in comfortably placing your head down on your pillow, and going peacefully to sleep? Today make the conscious choice to no longer torture yourself through your own judgments of self and others. You as God’s creation are forever worthy of His peace and joy. Make the conscious choice to trust this truth, and peace of mind and joy will fill more and more of your days and life.

Today let us allow forgiveness not judgment, to lead us and become our one constant conscious companion throughout this sacred day. Imagine making forgiveness your immediate response to everyone, everything and all. Imagine taking your power back from the ego by making the conscious decision to choose to overlook and disregard all of the ego’s demands for judgments. Imagine that no matter how much the ego demanded and insisted that you judge yourself or others, you simply smile at its request, chose instead to forgive, and went merrily on your way. How much more peace of mind and joy would you experience during such a day? Imagine no longer having to carry judgment’s weight and burdens, simply because we made a conscious effort to override the ego’s judgmental programming, and instead chose forgiveness and the peace that such a choice bring to us. Today when the ego once again tries to take over your thinking and decision-making, and it will try, for its own existence relies on you giving away your decision-making power over to it, don’t allow negative emotions about it’s efforts to affect you, simply recall that God has give you, not the ego, free will, and so in any and every moment, you have the ability to align with your true Source, and achieve a peaceful and joyful state. Today, when the ego once again tries to play its little mind control games, remind yourself: “God gave me free will, the power to choose my own thoughts and thus the world I end up experiencing. God is Love, and forgiveness and peace are both expressions of God, as am I. And so today I make the conscious choice to align with who I truly am, in order to remind myself that I am worthy of the truth, of forgiveness, freedom, peace of mind, joy, Love and God.”

Today, we are asked to practice coming into a more conscious alignment with God by choosing forgiveness over judgment. Today every time the ego demands judgment, we simply see it as a call from the universe that is inviting us to practice a more conscious alignment with God. And so we do not answer the ego’s call for judgment with judgment, instead we answer it by strengthening, through the choice to forgive, our union with God. The more we understand that we in truth are One with God, the more peace of mind and joy we will experience, and it is in the states of peace of mind and joy where we truly forever belong. By becoming the examples of peace of mind and joy, we help those brothers and sisters that are still unconsciously giving their power away to the ego, to remember that there indeed is a better, kinder, gentler, and more loving way.

I am trying to move on from events where I have been a victim by writing to release and then letting it go. One such thing I am dealing with happened this weekend.

I have been thinking about and feeling resentment against two people I perceive as having “set me up” as a child and then later blamed me for something I wasn’t able to handle. As I pondered how to release my judgment and forgive them, it finally led me to see I needed to forgive myself for what I wasn’t able to handle, not blame them. Perhaps it always boils down to forgiving and loving one’s self, especially since we are all One at our core essence.

Thank you June for your comment. What has happened in the past is now only in the past, and only we, through our own thoughts, can bring the past into the present moment. The good news to this is, that if we are the ones, who through our thoughts can bring the past into the present, then we hold the power, not the past, or others from the past. You have never been judged by God, for God is only Love. It is only the ego’s false programming that has made you buy into the idea of judgment. Forgive yourself because God sees and loves you free from judgment, and it would be much wiser to follow His Mindset then the ego’s mindset. Forgive your misperception of yourself and others, because when you do, because we are all One, all you are doing is forgiving different parts of yourself. It is when you forgive, your whole-self, that you truly free yourself from the ego’s judgmental and pain-filled mindset. Forgive yourself, forgive all other parts of yourself that the ego has taught you to see as others, do so with love and understanding, do so every time the ego is demanding judgment and condemnation, and you will set your whole self forever free. Peace. JBC
