Daily Inspiration: December 5. Freedom Through Forgiveness
If we desire true freedom, then it is we, who must first free ourselves, from our own judgments. The ego’s main fuel source is judgment, and thus its main goal is to have you judge yourself and others. Then it would follow that up by having you judge yourself for being judgmental of self and others. Today, do not judge yourself for being judgmental, instead use it as a signaling device, warning you that you are following the ego’s path, and thus traveling in the wrong direction. It’s perfectly fine to feel whatever it is you think you need to feel, but also, it is of equal importance, to feel how those feelings are making you feel. Are your judgments and feelings imprisoning you within walls of anger, resentment, guilt and shame, or are they helping free you from thoughts and a mindset that you no longer want? Are your thoughts and feelings weighing you down, or are they lifting you up? Are your judgments of self and others helping you lay your head gently on the pillow, conscious clear, and fall peacefully to sleep, or are they making you lay awake, tossing and turning, all night long? Only you can allow thoughts to enter your mind that will either imprison you or set you free. Are your judgments still entertaining you, or have you had enough of their drama? There is a more gentle, peaceful and compassionate way, that begins by doing the opposite of the judgment that the ego demands. If your judgments have brought you to a dark, difficult and chaotic place, then it is its opposite, forgiveness, that will free you from this prison. You have imprisoned yourself through your own thoughts and judgments, but the good news here is, that it is also you, who can through forgiveness, set yourself free. The power to begin to live a life free from judgment, resides now within you.
When in doubt, when the clouds of judgment seem to take the air out of the darken skies you breathe, do not despair, choose not to dive into the ego’s bottomless pit, instead remind yourself: “I have created my journey with God. The Creator of the Universe only has my best interest in mind. Thus, what I am going through right now is a gift from my Source to me that I have yet to unwrap. Thank you God for this opportunity you are offering me, to practice trusting you more. I now choose to fully trust you, and by doing so, I find true peace. I now, thanks to this life experience, become an example to others, that the possibility of peace exist, even in our so-called darkest hours.” Remind yourself that your Creator only creates perfectly and thus that your journey, no matter how you may have been programmed to see and react to it, is perfect. When you recall its perfection, you stop judging it, yourself or others. Forgive your misperceptions of your experience and of those within that experience, and find peace. Fear, judgment, anger, resentment, hate, guilt and shame, placing themselves in opposition to Love who is All, cannot be real. In reality, all that you are ever forgiving, is a false belief that was never real, and because it was never real, it was always nothing. Forgiveness is simply realizing that the false is false, and thus that the concepts within the ego’s mindset, are not real or true. All we have simply done is believed in an untruth as true, in the ego’s fairy tale as a non-fiction story. Let us now use what we now know are false concepts, to trigger in us, the need to awaken from the ego’s judgment-centered dreams. When you are back on solid ground, when once again align with the Mind of God, love, peace, compassion, forgiveness and joy, will radiate from within you, out into the world.
Today, let us consciously choose to no longer, through judgment, imprison ourselves within our own minds. Let us no longer allow our own judgments, to become our jailers. We have been gifted freedom, free will in our creation; let’s recall and consciously acknowledge what a gift, the choice to choose our attitude, in each and every moment and step along our path, truly is. Each moment and step along the path that we take, is a gift from God. Each step a reminder from Him to us, that we are indeed truly needed here and now. We are here to reflect God, Love and its expressions, such as those of free will, freedom, forgiveness, peace compassion and joy, onto this planet. We are here to show others that there is a way out of the prison that their own judgments have built. Today, whenever the ego tries to have you judge yourself or another, use such a situation, as an opportunity to instead practice forgiving yourself and others, and thus setting us free. Let us learn to be a bit more gentle with ourselves, by recalling that judgments of self and others, are not symbols that we are bad or not spiritual, but instead that we are buying into the ego’s fairy tale as true. Today, let us practice, through forgiveness, letting go of the illusionary nature of judgment, and by doing so, accept with gratitude and joy, the sacred nature of our journey. Now we know, that when judgment enters our mind’s gate, that we are simply being offered another opportunity, to forgive ourselves and others, and thus set ourselves free. The more we practice forgiveness, the more nature this behavior will become, and the more worthy of it we will feel.
Today, if mired in judgment of self or another, let us use such situations, not to put ourselves or others down, but to trigger in us, the call for forgiveness. All that in actuality is occurring, is that we are being offered another opportunity, to practice forgiving ourselves and others. The more we experience the gifts of peace, joy and freedom, that forgiveness offers us when we offer it, the more natural this behavior will become. The more natural this behavior becomes, the more worthy of it we will feel. If, for whatever reason, forgiveness seems too hard to do, do not despair, simply invite God to forgive for you. God will lead the way, and sooner or later, you will realize, see and feel, the wisdom of His way. Go ahead, invite with your whole heart and soul, God in. Ask Love to please lead the way, and feel the freedom, joy and peace, that comes from placing your full trust in God.
