Daily Inspiration: May 6. Bringing Light into the Darkness
Imagine being in a heavenly place of perfect love and peace. Then, from within this higher realm hearing a faint call for help and healing from our brothers and sisters in this world. Being that you yourself are love, and help and healing are expressions of love, a desire within you to answer this call occurred. And so you answered this call by choosing the most aligned physical body, family, and environment that will best help you experience and understand the problems that you came here to heal. You then experience the problem, not because you were being punished, but because this is what you chose to come down here to learn about, heal, and teach others how to heal. You have not been cursed with your current circumstance; you have simply volunteered to bring peace, light, and understanding to an area of your life, and of this world, where there is now currently pain, darkness, and confusion. What you now see as your challenges, are exactly the areas of this world that you have come here to bring light and understanding to. Your challenges are not some form of personal curse that you need to put yourself or others down for. Your challenges, unconscious of it as you may be, have been chosen by you to overcome, so that you may become an example to others that these types of challenges can be overcome. By overcoming your challenges you help bring light into an area of your life, and of this world, where darkness once reigned. This is where you, as a ray of God’s light, have come here to shine on, and show others that the light can overcome the darkness. These challenges, and overcoming them, being a part of your life’s mission, are what helps bring meaning to your life. As a ray of God’s light, you desire others not have to live in darkness, and so in these circumstance in your life, it will be you who will become that light at the end of the ego’s tunnel that will assist others in finding their way out of the darkness and back into the light.
You are now here to overcome, and are in the process of overcoming, whatever challenging situations you are going through. Thanks to your life experience, example, and victory over your challenges, this will help others overcome those same types of challenges, and become the light that they came here to be. Others will pay greater attention to what you have to say, because they can see that you too have gone through and overcome what they themselves are now going through and trying to overcome. It is your life experience, that life experience that you once blamed and judged yourself and others so much for, that has given you the knowledge and wisdom that others are now so open to hearing about, understanding, and replicating. You, thanks to your life experience, have become that light at the end of their dark tunnels. You have become in essence, their answered prayers. You, who once felt so stuck and hopeless, have now become the channel where hope, help and healing can flow from God, through you, to others. It is your life experience, all of it, not just the so-called good parts of it, that is your whole gift to this world. Every so-called error or mistake, bad or difficult situation or relationship, you will overcome, and it will be the lessons that you gain from your experience as a whole, that will become the teaching tools that you will have to offer to others. Imagine beginning to see the so-call negative or difficult times in your life as simply parts of the sacred lesson plan that you have co-created with God, in order to help bring greater light and understanding into this world. How much more peace of mind, hope, understanding, knowledge, wisdom, and joy, could you open yourself up to, experience, and be grateful for, if but you remembered that your life, every moment of it, is part of a sacred lesson plan, a way of bringing God’s light, love and understanding into this world.
Today, do not judge yourself for what your journey appears to look like, instead hold your head up high knowing that the path that you have chosen will help yourself and others remember that every moment is indeed a gift, a blessing that is in one way or another helping lift us all out of the darkness and back into the light. The more you understand the beauty and gifts that all your challenges present, the less you’ll be willing to judge your past and those in it, and thus the more at peace you will be with your past. The more peace you have when thinking of your past, the more peace you will have and experience in your present. The more you understand how much everything, even the darkness and challenges in your life, have always been, and are always being used by God for the greater good, the more you will understand and appreciate every single step along your journey. The more at peace you are with your whole life experience, the more you’ll be able to teach others of the ever-present availability of the choice for peace, of the ever-present availability of the light, even in our seemingly darkest times. Understanding that you are now here to bring light into the darkness, would the darkness that you encounter, from now until you return home, not be seen as an opportunity to bring greater light, peace, wisdom and joy into this world? Would you not be, in some way, honor to encounter this darkness, chaos and confusion, because you now know that God trusted you enough that He placed you in front of it, knowing that you would overcome it, bring clarity to confusion and light into the darkness, in order to help remind those who have forgotten, of their true nature? Today remember, God is Love, and you are His ray of light, He will never place you somewhere that you can not shine.
Today, we remember that we are God’s ray of light, and so when we encounter darkness of any kind, we understand that our mission is to bring light into it. We thank God for the trust that He has placed in us, for God being Love, would never have us somewhere that we could not succeed. Today, where there is chaos we bring clarity, where there is judgment and anger we bring forgiveness and understanding, and where there is resentment and hate we bring peace and love. We will no longer judge ourselves for having bought into, experienced, lived in or for having been a part of the darkness, we will now simply see and understand that these times were simply another sacred part of our lesson plan. We will now use such times as teaching tools, and those still in them will appreciate our clarity, knowledge and understanding. Now we no longer curse or judge the darkness, now we simply see God’s trust in us, and it is His trust in us that assures our victory.
