Daily Inspiration: September 13. Frustration and Worry
If God is Love and All, and peace is an expression of Love, then frustration and worry which basically place themselves in opposition to peace, Love, All, can only be experienced if we’re misperceiving reality. When peace is understood as part of All, then every situation, regardless of how we have been programmed to see and react to it, is in actuality an opportunity to practice becoming an example of peace, or recalling how we can achieve the state of peace. As we recall that we are indeed One with Love, our sense of safety, comfort, and trust increases, in doing so frustration and worry decrease, and thus the state of peace results. Every situation is offering us this opportunity, to align with and experience the state of peace, or to practice realizing that we are indeed worthy of peace. When we are not at peace, we are not really seeing what is truly going on. It is not because the possibility of peace is not available to us in that moment or with that person, it is because we have been programmed by the ego to place our focus elsewhere, away from peace, away from what we truly seek. This does not make you an unwise or less spiritual person. This simply is showing you the areas in your life where you have bought into an untruth about yourself as true. Once you understand this misperception, it is then that you can begin to dismantle it, correct it, and become an example to others, of what one who is at peace looks like. Today, if feeling worried or frustrated, do not despair. Instead, let us see this as an opportunity, a call to action from the Universe, to let go of a mindset that is not supporting our growth and healing. See such situations as helping us practice increasing our levels of trust in our Creator’s plan for the Universe. Let us see frustration and worry, not as us being deficient, but as us looking to develop a greater trust in God.
It is not difficult to misperceive reality, when you have since birth been programmed to see the fairy tale as real. When over and over again, you see modeled before you, behaviors that say that frustration and worry are real and natural responses to the human condition. Yet, no matter how real the ego makes us believe that its fairy tales are, we can only walk through its dark tunnel for so long, before we start to question the logic and usefulness of its advice and mindset. In this dark tunnel, we all become frustrated and worried again and again, punish ourselves and others through our own thoughts over and over, until one day we start getting sick and tired of the ego’s advice. This is when we begin looking for a better, more gentle and loving way, for the light at the end of the tunnel. As we continue to defy the ego for this better, more gentle, and loving way, we start to notice how natural this ‘other’ way of thinking and being actually feels. The more natural it feels, the more worthy of it we feel. The more we practice overriding the ego’s mindset, and letting go of the false concepts of frustration and worry, and instead place our trust in God, the sooner we will start to experience greater amounts of peace in our lives. It will be these small victories over the ego’s illusionary mindset, these consistent reinforcements that we are worthy of peace, that will show us, as God’s creations, that we are worthy of God’s peace. The more trust we place in God’s mindset, the less use we will have for the ego’s mindset. Then, slowly but surely, the ego’s mindset will begin to dissolve away before our light and understanding.
Today, let us practice remembering that frustration and worry are both simply symptoms of a lack of trust in God’s plan. In every moment there is a choice to be made, between trusting in God’s plan, which is also and equally your highest will’s plan for your life, or trusting in the ego’s plan for your life. When you trust in God’s plan, the state of peace results. When you are frustrated and worried, know these to be symbols of one who is trusting in the ego’s plan for their life. God’s plan for us, and our highest will for ourselves, are One. Today, our goal is to simply do this: Trust in God’s plan, and by doing so, achieve and conscious align with, the state of peace. The more we trust in God’s plan, the more peace we will experience. Equally so, the more we trust in the ego’s plan, the more frustration and worry we will experience. Our level of peace, frustration, and worry, therefore is not a result of what is occurring in the outer world, but a result of whose plan we are choosing to trust. Today, when frustration and worry come once again knocking on your mind’s door, use such moments, not to put yourself and others down, but instead to practice remembering and reinforcing the truth, that your highest will and God’s will are One. Trust that God is Perfect, thus His plan for us must be perfect. Practice trusting God and reconnecting with the sense of peace that is your true nature and inheritance. Then, let us become examples and representatives of the state of peace, to those still mired in the fairy tales of frustration and worry. Let us help them recall, that the opportunity for peace, is always just a simple choice away.
Today, if frustration and worry come knocking at our mind’s door, let us see this, not as a time to judge ourselves or others for not being wise or spiritual enough. Instead, let us use it as a call to action from the Universe, asking and inviting us, to trust God more. Today, let us no longer feed, with our time, focus and energy, the illusionary concepts of frustration and worry. By not fueling them, we rob them of their fuel source, which is us and our thoughts. Then let us place that time same time, focus and energy, on developing a greater trust in God and His plan for our life. We remind ourselves that God being Love and All, only and always has our best interest in mind. The more we truly place our trust in God, the more peace we will experience. The more peace we experience, the less worry and frustration we will feel. Let us do so, until one day those energies become but a distant memory, of a time long long ago, when we once thought that fairy tales were real.
