Daily Inspiration: January 21. Offering Forgiveness when Forgiveness Seems Too Hard to Do – Condensed Version
If you are having problems forgiving yourself or another, if all you can feel are thoughts of judgment, resentment, anger, hatred or revenge, darkening your path, then know that it is not really the truth in you, that is in control of your thinking. If you are not in control of your thinking, then you are not in control of your life. And so today, let us practice taking back control of our life, by taking back control of the thoughts that we are choosing to think and support. Today, when such darken thoughts pop up, let us recall where they have taken us before, no where that we truly desire to be. Then let us stop them, and make the conscious choice that we will no longer fuel them with our time, energy, and focus. Let us instead begin fueling thoughts that will fuel the life that we ourselves truly desire to experience.
Today, when we once again hear the ego demanding that we judge another, when it insists that they are not worthy of our forgiveness, we recall the dark dead-end roads where it’s advice led us, and instead choose to look towards The Light for true leadership. We are all One, and so if we withhold forgiveness from another, we are withholding peace from ourselves. As children of The Light, we are here to be the way showers, to light the way for those who are currently finding it too dark to see. Today, when the ego once again demands that God’s children are not worthy of our mercy, let us challenge ourselves to take back control of our own thoughts, move our thoughts from the darkness into The Light, and from this place of peace, love and understanding, return the guidance of our lives over to our true Source.
All glory to God.
Peace, Health, Happiness, Love, Laughter, and Light.
