Daily Inspiration: February 16. Letting Go of Who You Are Not

Many times finding out who you are not, is the surest way to finding out, who you truly are. You will only consciously be who you are not, as long as you choose to keep supporting thoughts, words, emotions and actions, that don’t support you. Once you tire of supporting who you are not, it is then you will choose to look for a better way, the real you. And so, instead of judging yourself for being who you are not, thank those thoughts, words, emotions and actions, for they, in their own unique and sacred way, are helping you guide you, out of your false-self. What if, you could start retraining your mind, to be grateful for all the judgment filled thoughts, that the ego had programmed you to put yourself down for or feel bad about? What if you began to get, that those illusionary thoughts that you once bought as real, such as those of judgment, anger, anxiousness, resentment and sadness, where just steps on your ladder, to a greater understanding of how to be more forgiving, peaceful, confident, loving and joyful? What if you started to remember that because your journey is a sacred co-creation with God, that each and every one of your steps, no matter how the ego has trained you to define them, are actually of great use to you, to help you recall your true-self? Would a greater sense of acceptance, compassion, forgiveness, peace and understanding, not begin to embrace and fill your life? How would this conscious shift in mindset affect your life? Would you not become an example to those who are currently feeling lost and confused? Would you not become a sort of light at the end of their tunnel? Would you not bring hope to the hopeless, and certainty to those who are looking for a better way? This is the opportunity that your whole life experience, in every moment, is offering you. One day, you will see, understand and become grateful for the useful nature of your whole journey. Until that day comes, through your example, and thanks to your life experience, help others heal. Until that day comes, know that The Divine is, who has design your journey with you, and that all steps along your sacred path, will be used for the betterment of all mankind.

Those thoughts that the ego’s past programming supports, but that don’t support us, come in many forms, such as judgment of self and others, anxiousness, anger, resentment, envy, hate, and revenge. One key, to figuring when a thought is not supportive, is that it makes you lose your peace of mind. The state of peace, as an expression of love, is who in truth you are, where you belong, and what you came here to share with others. Thus, if you’re not in the state of peace, you are in essence lost. Feeling unconsciously lost, brings about a state of confusion, insecurity, lack of balance, and fear. None of these are expressions and extensions of love, thus none of these are truly who you are, where you belong, or what you are meant to share. These are expressions and extensions of the ego’s mindset, and the ego is a very limited illusionary belief within your mind. Being illusionary in nature, none of what the ego supports and “creates” as true is true. When you are buying into the false as true, when you have lost your peace of mind and joy, this is not something to put yourself down for, this is simply a helpful wake up call, that reminds you that you are stuck believing in a mindset that is not yours, and that it is now time to get out of it and awaken. Judgment is the main fuel source of the ego, because it helps it convince you, when you align with it, that its mindset is ‘true’, and that an all-loving God is not. But why would God, who is Perfect, Love, and All, ever need to judge? God is Love, and judgment plays no part in Perfect Love, and thus any judgment of self or others is in truth not based in reality. God is All, and so the ego and its judgment based mindset, placing itself in opposition to All, must be in truth nothing, unreal, a falsity and a lie.

Today, we have one simple task, to end our support for those thoughts that don’t support us. How simple is today’s task, when all you are asked to do, is to practice letting go of who you are not. Practice throughout your day releasing thoughts that do not support you. Release these thoughts, not through judgment and with resentment, but through forgiveness and with gratitude. Offer them forgiveness and gratitude as you release them, because they have been a part of a process, sacred steps on your journey, that are helping you let go of, what you now know, is not you. As you continue to practice releasing thoughts that don’t support you, because we are all One, this will serve others as an example of what is indeed also possible for them. This will then help them re-encounter their true-selves. When, thanks to your whole life experience, you are able to help a fellow being, leave who they are not, it is then you will realize and experience the true gift that each one of your challenges was. And yes, what a gift and lesson, that experiencing, powering through, and letting go of, those thoughts that don’t support you, has been to your growth, healing and awakening process. What a blessing and relief it will be to stop judging parts of our journey, and thus in essence, stop judging parts of ourselves. What a blessing to now see every part of our journey as helpful and sacred, and thus every part of ourselves as useful and good. Today, we are blessed to start remembering and reinforcing only the truth in us as true, that we are God’s creation, and that God can only create perfectly, and so every single one of our steps, of our thoughts, emotions, expressions, actions, reactions, and interactions, always serves a higher purpose, and a higher good.

Today, let us practice supporting who we are, and letting go of who we are not. As God’s creations, we are Love in physical form. Being forgiving, compassionate, peace and joyful, are all symbols of one who is in alignment with who they in truth are. Any thought, word, emotion or action, that is in opposition to love and its expressions, are who we are not. Let us practice letting go of who we are not, but not through judgment and with resentment, but through forgiveness and with gratitude. We release with forgiveness and gratitude, because we now understand, that every single step along our path, being a sacred co-creation with God, will be used for good. Now we know that every step that we or others take, will be used to help us all grow, heal and awaken. Understanding this, we spend less time judging self and others, and more time, aligning and reinforcing our peaceful nature. Now, in peace we walk ahead, head held high, certain that we will all, at own sacred pace and time, become who we came here to be.

My mind has been full of the same negative thought for nearly a year… It really has shaken me, I never would have been reading this kind of stuff if this thought never messed with me… I guess it has lead me on a path to find help and spirituallity which has changed me. I still have this stupid thought in my head which was a dream but somehow got out of control… Your thoughts and words make so much sense and I’m trying to get them into my head.. Thank you Muz for your comment. Every thought and experience we have, unconscious as we may be of it, is a gift from God to us, to help us better understand who we are and who we are not. God is Love and All, and so the truth in us is only Love because there is no opposite to All. When a negative or false thought enters your mind, do not punish it or yourself for it, instead thank it and thank God for experiencing it, for it is only showing you who you are not. The more you realize who you are not, the closer you can come to figuring out who you truly are. And so, simply see it as an opportunity to trained your mind to let go of who you are not and practice consciously being who in truth you are, your loving essence. Say to yourself when such a thought comes in: “This thought is not true. Only the truth, the Love in me is true. I now make the conscious choice to let go, to stop placing my time, focus and energy on a false thought, and now use that time, focus and energy to support and thus reinforce only my loving truth as true. Thank you God for helping me consciously practice using my mind to align with You, with Love, with who you created me to be. Amen.” Peace. JBC
